[Debate] The Islamists did not win the recent Libyan elections

Why not a third option of a political solution?

This question can be posed differently along the same lines, in the 
absence of a counterfactual, is the current circumstances (based on the 
mandate of the UN resolution) sufficient, or could more have been done 
better?
