One world weeping
To those huddled figures
draped in cloths
young people, perhaps
even small children
moving through the shadows
and into the darkness of corridors
my heart follows you
impotent, in agony
my hands reach out to you
till my fingers are covered with blood
The world is filled
with soundless weeping.
