[DEBATE] : disappointed

Dear Mr. Clay: for what little it may be worth to you,  I'm really 
disappointed in the positions you've taken on the Zim matter - the fact 
is that both Mugabe AND "the West" are lying, not to mention killing ( 
my knowledge of the enormities of the present regime in Zim based on 
accounts of people I actually know and trust who are indeed there) - 
I'm not quite sure why you would feel the need to put in a good word 
for Mugabe at present: you can remain a consistent and vigorous 
anti-imperialist without feeling forced to make the mindless choice 
between two very real evils that you seem to want  to impose on those 
of us who are not quite as ill-informed as you might imagine - give us 
a break, please - more important, give the long and fearsomely 
suffering Zimbabwean people a break - jss
