When I looked up the record for our ward (Johannesburg 81) immediately after
the election I found extraordinarily complete detail that explained quite
clearly how we had taken it from the incumbents, the DA. In the voting
districts where our support was strongest, the ANC vote came out in force
yielding better than 90%. In the white suburban areas the support for the DA
clocked at only 60% or so. Consequently, although the DA's potential support
was larger, and they could have won if they had got their vote out, we got
the win.

I can only think that you are saying that they have not yet summarised the
results in the form that you need, or not yet published these summaries.

I suggest you write to the IEC and ask them for what you want.

Found what I needed except for data on the 2006 municipal. IEC website was
no help. Any other suggestions?
