HERMES Fellowships
Post-doctoral fellowship programme in the Social & Human Sciences

The HERMES International Fellowship Programme aims at enabling young 
post-doctoral research scholars in the humanities and social sciences from 
emerging countries such as South Africa to visit France for the purposes of 
conducting research.

These 3 to 9-month long research grants have been designed to enable the 
invited researchers to conduct an individual research project in the host 
laboratory, to integrate themselves within French and European scientific 
networks and to establish sustainable cooperation between their institution 
of origin and their host institution.
