The Congress of South African Trade Unions is holding a scheduled meeting of
its Central Executive Committee from 13-15 February 2006. Among the many
issues to be discussed are:

* ANC NEC resolution
* HIV/Aids
* The Superior Courts Bill
* The labour market and workers' rights
* COSATU Jobs and Poverty Campaign

People's Budget Campaign
The People's Budget Campaign is holding two media conferences in connection
with the government's budget. They are both at 1st Floor, COSATU House, on:
Monday at 13h00, to set out what the PBC would like to see in the budget
Wednesday at 16h30, to respond to Trevor Manuel's budget speech
