There is nothing really curious about this response. They represent the 
specific interests of their members as they see them. That they are unionists 
does not give their views any special moral or political validity. Set against 
the need for diversity of voices and media, representing communities, 
movements and various other constituencies, their narrow concerns do not 
deserve much attention.
