[AU-Monitor] Joint press release on the Darfur crisis

Dear Charles and all those Present in Addis,
Unfortunately I may not be able to attend th Summit as
I had previously told some of you in Nairobi at the
WSF.

In response to Charles concern about the Press release
on Darfur from the INGOs my own suggestion is that we
shou;ld not expect INGOs to do our job for us.

The African groups present and through email hose who
are not there should draft their own statement and
address a Press conference in addition to lobbying our
own governments. 

We should stop allowing to be led even at the AU
summit by INGOs.

If we have our house in order we should have been in
the forefront and reduce their role to solidarity with
our actions and activities.
